New Patients
UNWIND Chiropractic & Wellness is conveniently located right off Berryhill Rd in Milton. Our office has a quaint, comfortable and relaxed feel to it, yet offers all the modern amenities of today’s technology. When you schedule your initial visit with one of our doctors, you will receive an email confirming your appointment and there will be a link to complete your new patient forms. This will create your patient portal with our office that will have all the information you need like upcoming appointments, receipts, and any documents the doctors may share with you. You can add additional family members to your account as well. Please complete all intake forms 24 hours prior to your appointment so that the doctors can inform themselves of your health history, current conditions, and allow them to better prepare for your visit.
Getting Started
When you arrive to our office, you will check-in via QR scan or with the front desk receptionist. The doctor will greet you and walk you back to the treatment room, then sit down with you to talk about what has brought you in. We take the time to listen and get to know our patients. The doctor will ask any additional questions they may have regarding your health history, then inform you about what is involved in the examination process specific to your conditions. You’ll know about all testing and costs involved before choosing to move forward. Once the doctor has completed their examination, informed you of their findings, and has deemed chiropractic care suitable for you, you will receive a chiropractic adjustment. Afterwards, you will discuss the doctor’s recommendations and treatment plan to you to help you feel better and meet your individual goals.
Your first appointment takes about 30-50 minutes.
Follow-Ups
Subsequent appointments are quicker, taking about 10 minutes each. If you require more time with the doctor, they will be happy to schedule that for you. You’ll may receive a custom home exercise program that you can complete in between your adjustments to speed your progress.
